Layne Weldon
I'm an artist and songwriter in Atlanta, GA. I began writing and performing while in college. I played the college scene in Auburn, AL and from there began playing other locations in Alabama. I partnered with several talented female artists performing acoustic gigs in Montgomery, Columbus GA and Mississippi. I now focus my energy on creating in my studio and releasing songs. I have releases available on all streaming and purchasing platforms as well as on my website. When writing, I try to create relatable songs from personal experiences.
Some of my key accomplishments are writing for a songwriting company, Songfinch, being nominated for Artist of the Month for Pride Entertainment Magazine and working as a guitarist for the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.

Les Lonely and the Socially Distant
Les Lonely and The Socially Distant is a North American Indie /Psychedelic/Alternative Rock Band. The album, “Salve For The Soul’, is about Peace and Love. It is a work best consumed in whole by those who want and need to share a little healing.
The record is about Peace and Love. It is a work composed with unity in mind during some of the most troubling times our world has ever faced. It is truly ointment for the soul. We are all labeled and prepped for a life that is meant to serve the machine. The songs contained in this work remind us of better times and how if we just open our hearts we can see ourselves in each other. We are meant to thrive together. We are meant to embrace our Brothers and Sisters with kindness.
